Live Painting Pricing and Process

Hi there! Thank you so much for your interest in my Live Guest Portraits. Hiring an artist for Live Guest Portraits provides a unique experience to every event. My process is evolving with every event I work at, and I've learned that certain structures are better for different events, and expectations. For this reason, if you are interested in booking Guest Portraits, it's best to fill out the form below and let me know more details about your event before we discuss how it works and pricing.
Live Canvas Painting
The final price for your Live Event Painting is based on these 3 factors:
-The size of your canvas
-The time it takes for me to travel to your event
-The amount of time I am at your event
Canvas Size:
All of my Live Event Paintings are done on Gallery Wrapped Stretched Canvases. These are high quality canvases with a 1.5" edge, giving that nice, Gallery style art look and feel. The size of the canvas determines not only my cost of the canvas itself, but how long it takes me to complete the painting, and the amount of materials that will be used on the canvas/painting. I use acrylic paint and will finish the painting with a gloss varnish. I am currently offering three sizes, a square (24” ox 24”) and two rectangle options (24” x 36”, 20” x 24”). The 24” x 24” and 20” x 24” I would consider to be a medium size, and the 24” x 36” I would consider a large size.
Below is pricing for the size of the canvas:
20" x 24" = $950
24" x 24" = $1,025
24" x 36" = $1,300
Travel Time:
I currently live in Atlanta, GA. If your event is within a one hour driving radius of Atlanta, no need to worry about Travel Fees! If your event is more than an hour away by car, I charge $20/hour traveled. If the Event is far enough away that I need to get a hotel room for the night, I charge for that as well.
*This pricing is based off travel by car- If your event requires I travel by plane, we will discuss that together*

Once I receive your form submission, I will send over an invoice for your final price. You will need to pay half of it as an initial deposit to secure your date on my calendar. and then we can set up a time to speak over the phone and discuss your Event details. The second and final installment will be sent to you 1 month before your wedding date and is due at least 2 weeks prior to your wedding.
